Nirú Ocean Suites by Binniguenda
With just 28 suites total, this property is smaller than the kids' club at several other resorts on this list — and that's exactly the point. Twelve of those suites are Master suites with a private plunge pool right on the terrace; the rest are split between Junior, Junior Plus, and Standard, with a modular layout that lets two adjoining suites connect when a group is traveling together. With 133 rooms, this is the smallest property in Tangolunda — and that works in its favor, it never feels massive. The all-inclusive plan here is real and complete: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, snacks, a selection of national and international drink brands, and a full activities program for the whole family. Dining is split between three restaurants — the Veranda buffet, the Italian restaurant Andiamo, and the Mexican restaurant Frida — and the Coco Bar, on the seventh floor next to the infinity pool, is the resort's best lookout point, with the entire bay in view. Quinta Real Huatulco
This is the property that breaks the central rule of this ranking: it doesn't sell all-inclusive. You pay for the suite, and every extra is billed separately. In exchange, it delivers something none of the other resorts on this list have — white-domed architecture inspired by Mexican and Moroccan design, built into the hillside above Tangolunda Bay. It's called Barcy, it's open from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening, and on its own it explains why this property fills up with Mexican families on vacation. The complex has 351 rooms, ranging from 390-square-foot Deluxe rooms up to a roughly 2,150-square-foot presidential suite. For dining, there are five restaurants — two buffets, two specialty restaurants, and a sushi bar — plus three bars spread across the pool, lobby, and theater, with a live show every night from Monday to Saturday. This isn't one beach split into zones — these are four distinct coves inside the property: Playa Secreta, Manzanillo, Tornillo, and Ventura, the last one described by the resort itself as a fully protected cove with marine life just a few feet from shore. This is the largest complex on the ranking, built into the hillside and organized into four named sectors — Montañas, Estrellas, Nubes, and Océano (Mountains, Stars, Clouds, and Ocean) — so the room category you pick decides how many stairs you'll climb and how much view you'll get. It's a 25-minute drive from the airport.
