The 4 private beaches
There is no single beach here: there are four, and all four are private to the resort. They are called Playa Secreta, Manzanillo, Tornillo and Ventura, and each is a separate cove divided by rock and vegetation on the same property. Playa Ventura is where the non-motorized water sports depart from. When to go
The Oaxaca coast is warm almost all year. From November to March it is usually less hot and less rainy, and it is the season several reviews recommend because almost none of the resort's common areas are air-conditioned. From May to October heat and humidity rise and the rains arrive; the Pacific hurricane season runs from May to November, and the rainy months tend to be the lowest-demand ones.
