Nacho leads aquagym classes with an energy that's contagious from the first repetitions. Otto and Emanuel complete a team that genuinely seems to enjoy their work.
In water sports, the all-inclusive covers kayak, catamaran, pedal boats, body board and snorkel gear. There's also an included scuba diving trial in the pool — a fact many travelers don't know when booking. The RiuLand Kids Club runs daily with activities for children ages 4 to 12.
Elite Club — Is the Upgrade Worth It?
Since February 2026, the Elite Club by RIU is available at this hotel. The difference is not just a different-colored wristband. Elite rooms include premium alcohol dispensers in the room, minibar with snacks, a welcome bottle of wine, breakfast and dinner à la carte at the exclusive Elite restaurant, access to a private pool and Balinese beds, and late check-out until 1 pm.
The dinner at the Elite restaurant is, according to those who experienced it, one of the most memorable moments of the entire stay — intimate atmosphere, Cava options and generous portions. For couples on a romantic trip or honeymoon: the Elite Club changes the equation. For families spending most of their time on the beach and at the buffet, the standard level may be more than enough.
