Per the official site, each suite sleeps 3 people; the Master, 5; and the Presidential, 6. Square footage per category is not confirmed, so we do not give it. These are three representative options:

For travelers who spend the day at parks, restaurants and pools.
A suite with a garden view. The official site also mentions versions with direct access to the pools.

Tip: if a sea view matters, move up a category: the Garden faces the garden.
Option 2 · Couples who want a Caribbean view
For travelers who want to wake up with the sea in the background.
A partial view of the Caribbean, in a contemporary design with Mexican art.

The resort faces the Caribbean and access to the beach is signposted, per the official site. Booking lists it as beachfront with a private beach area. The official site places the beach and coves next to Casa de los Artistas. The type of sand and the surf are not confirmed, so check recent guest photos.
The exact number of pools and of swim-up bars is not confirmed: ask the resort for the Casa you choose. The official site mentions five rooftops, plus bars and pool bars.
The Riviera Maya has a warm tropical climate all year. From December to April conditions tend to be less humid; from May to October the heat builds and rain is more frequent. The official Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, which does not mean a storm will affect every trip.
Sargassum has no fixed calendar: it changes from one year to the next and from one beach to another. Since the Xcaret parks are outdoors, it helps to have a plan B for rainy days.
The resort is organized into six Casas, each with its own personality. Per the official site, this is what each one offers:
Weaving workshop.
River, Ocean Front, Swim Up Ocean Front, Junior Ocean Front and Presidential Ocean Front suites; a rooftop with a pool and an exclusive bar; the Kibi-Kibi restaurant.
Direct access to Xpiral and a ceramics workshop.
Latin dance workshop and evening shows.
Exclusive access to Muluk Spa and terraces with volcanic-stone tubs.
An events center and the Cafeteca.
The All-Fun Inclusive plan gives access to the Xcaret Group parks: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoximilco, Xenses Insomnia and Xenotes, with no minimum nights, per the official site. A dedicated shuttle runs to the parks every 20 to 30 minutes.
They don't all work the same way: Xcaret, Xplor, Xplor Fuego and Xenses don't require a reservation; Xel-Há, Xoximilco, Xenses Insomnia and Xenotes do. The plan also includes the Cancún–Isla Mujeres and Playa del Carmen–Cozumel ferries and the Xcaret catamaran.
Important: ask for your spots at the parks that need a reservation as soon as you arrive. Extra experiences inside the parks are discounted, but not included. If the parks don't interest you, part of the plan's value is lost.
Dining is the resort's second big argument. The official site names Xaak, Encanta, Kibi-Kibi, Cantina VI.AI.PY., Tah-Xido (Japanese teppanyaki) and Arenal, and the Michelin Guide lists Le Chique, with one star, inside the resort. The chefs of Encanta and Kibi-Kibi hold Michelin stars per the resort, but those restaurants themselves do not.
A Michelin-starred restaurant, per the Michelin Guide. Whether it is included in the plan or costs extra is not confirmed: ask the resort.
Chef-driven cuisine by chef Karime López; it is the restaurant that costs extra.
Mexican cuisine by chef Paco Méndez, a Michelin-starred chef per the resort.
Cuisine by chef Roberto Solís, a Michelin-starred chef per the resort; only for guests of Casa de los Artistas, by reservation.
Oaxacan cuisine by chef Alejandro Ruiz.
Five rooftops, plus bars and pool bars, per the official site. There is also the Cafeteca, in Casa del Patrón.
Every Casa has its own offering: a weaving workshop in Casa del Diseño, a ceramics workshop in Casa de la Pirámide and Latin dance in Casa de la Música, per the official site. Who can take part and whether there is a fee, confirm with the resort.
Muluk Spa is in Casa de la Paz, which has exclusive access, and its treatments are not included in the plan. Casa de los Artistas and Casa de la Paz have gyms.
At night, Casa de la Música offers evening shows and Casa de los Artistas has a rooftop with a pool and an exclusive bar. The resort has five rooftops in all, per the official site.
The parks are already in the plan, so what is left outside is whatever is not Xcaret: Chichén Itzá and the cenotes nearby. Before booking, check in each listing what it includes, whether it offers pickup, its cancellation policy and whether there is availability for your dates.
One of the best-known archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula. On Viator you can compare the available tours, what each one includes and its cancellation policy.
Crystal-clear cenotes near Tulum, well known for swimming and snorkeling. On Viator you can compare the tours, what each one includes and its cancellation policy.
Check the tours and activities available for your dates.
So there are no surprises when you arrive, this is what the official website leaves outside the all-inclusive:

Hotel Xcaret Arte is for guests 16 and older and focuses on art and chef-driven dining. If you are traveling with kids, the group has other resorts, such as Hotel Xcaret México, about 0.25 miles away per Google.
The resort holds a 4.5 out of 5 on Google and a 9.0 out of 10 on Booking.com (October 2026). It is not for everyone: it is for guests 16 and older, Xaak costs extra, Kibi-Kibi is only for one Casa and the complex is big. But for couples who want dining, art and Xcaret parks in one plan, it is one of the most complete options on the Riviera Maya.
