Secrets Vallarta Bay is adults-only, with two hundred seventy-one suites; Dreams Vallarta Bay welcomes families and occupies the wing that, until October 15, 2021, was called Now Amber. Here's the detail nobody tells you: if you're staying at the adults-only side, you can cross over freely and use everything on the family side. It doesn't work the other way — from the family side you need to buy a day pass, and if you're traveling with kids, they simply aren't allowed across.
